Our GELCROC PE, a depth filter cartridge made of polyester micro-fibers has a high-temperature resistance of 120°C. By comparison, polypropylene depth filters can withstand a maximum of 80°C.
The depth filter structure has an asymmetric pattern - larger pores on the outside, finer pores on the inside - which results in an excellent dirt-holding capacity and, thus, a long filter life.
The micro-polyester fibers are thermally bonded, forming a high-strength fiber matrix that maintains the filter properties even under critical process conditions or pressure fluctuations. In addition, the high chemical resistance ensures that the filter retains its properties during the entire filtration time and is not attacked by the solvent (e.g. no swelling of the fibers).
The GELCROC PE provides accurate and uniform filtration from start to finish.
Available in 8 filtration rates from 1 to 100 micron nominal.
Available in lengths from 1 to 40 inches and with all standard adapters.
