Solvents and filter cartridges, what fits?
Due to its micro-fiber structure (with fiber diameters of up to 1 micron), a filter media has an enormously large contact surface with the solvent. The potential impact of a solvent on the filter is therefore many times greater than with a solid plastic.
The temperature influences the effect of the solvent on the filter. A temperature of 20 °C or 60 °C can lead to very different results.
The contact time between the filter and the solvent is another crucial factor.
For example, a contact time of 2 hours could be acceptable and provide good results, while a contact time of 3 days could damage the filter.
ARRANGED has filters that are made of 100% polypropylene, 100% polyester or 100% nylon. That makes things easier in checking if the filter compatible or not.
